Colourpop Haul (No Filter Foundation)

Hey beauty queens!
Any thrifty beauty guru is probably familiar with Colourpop, an affordable brand based in Los Angeles. They have been knocking it out of the park lately with their new releases, so what better way to celebrate than with a haul! Let’s get into it!

Colourpop recently dropped their first ever foundation, and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. Their No Filter Foundation boasts a buildable full coverage formula, and I have to say I agree with this. With my skin being on the dry side, I opt for more hydrating formulas, but this certainly did not dry me out. I enjoyed how buildable it was, and could definitely get away with one layer on a light makeup day. I probably could have gone a shade darker, and I wish the undertones were just a liiitle more pink, but I’m not upset by any means! I’m wearing shade Fair 45, and with 42 shades you should easily find a match for you! If you’re clueless about your shades and undertones, no worries, they have a guide on their website that’s got you covered. No Filter Foundation retails for $12 on CP’s website

An absolute staple in my collection is Colourpop’s super shock highlighters. They’re moussey, buildable, and jaw-droppingly bright. I usually go for nude or peachy highlighters, but Smoke N Whistles is the perfect pink. It looks so ethereal, and I’m so obsessed with this on my cheekbones, cupids bow and collar bones. The highlighter formula is tried and true and this is definitely a new favorite shade. Smoke N Whistles retails for $8

In this haul, I gave the ultra blotted lips a try for the first time. Zuma is a beautiful pinky color that I couldn’t wait to get on. It dries down completely matte and transfer proof, but isn’t full coverage. I had the best luck when I put a few dots on my lips and rubbed them together, rather than trying to cover my entire lip in a layer. It’s a great natural look that I will absolutely be utilizing in this summer heat. This formula is super breathable and if you’re a fan of CP’s ultra satin formula, you’ll like this one too! Zuma retails for $6

While the pressed powder eye shadows definitely aren’t new to the world, this was the first time I snagged some. I was given a CP shadow in an Ipsy bag a few months back and was so impressed with the formula. I’ve been loving orange and yellows this summer, so I figured I would give their shadows a shot! Tiki and Bratty will have me looking like a piña colada all summer long! The wear on these is incredible, and the pigment is to die for. There is a small amount of fall out, but it’s something I’m willing to overlook. Both retail for $4
